LA KISS HAVE BEEN ASSIGNED FORMER GREEN BAY PACKER AND FREE AGENT JOE MADSEN

LA KISS WILL PLAY THE SPOKANE SHOCK ON FRIDAY, MAY 8TH AT 7PM PST AT THE SPOKANE ARENA

Los Angeles, CA  (May 6th, 2015) – The LA KISS made a move to their roster this week with the assignment of former Green Bay Packer and free agent Joe Madsen as they head into their match-up against the Spokane Shock on Friday, May 8th at 7pm PST at the Spokane Arena in Spokane, Washington.

Madsen, a 6-foot-3, 305-pound center from West Virginia University, was originally signed by the Pittsburgh Steelers as a non-drafted free agent on April 27, 2013. He was released by the Steelers on August 31, 2020 but played for the LA KISS during the 2014 Arena Football League season, starting at center in 15 games. Madsen was then signed to the Green Bay Packers practice squad in January where he spent the 2015 offseason before being assigned to the LA KISS. This will be his second assignment with the team.

“Even though we wish Joe would have made the Green Bay Packers squad, we are extremely excited to have him back on the team as he is a very good offensive lineman,” said LA KISS head coach Bob McMillen. “Joe is turning into one of the top young centers in our league and will certainly help our team get better.”
