ANAHEIM, Calif. – The LA KISS have been assigned two more rookies to their 2015 roster with the additions of wide receiver Lacoltan Bester and defensive back Winston Wright.

Bester (6-3, 210, Oklahoma) enters his first season in a KISS uniform having most recently spent time with the NFL’s Houston Texans in 2014. Bester signed with the Texans as an undrafted rookie free agent following a standout college career. Upon being named to the Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges All-State/North Division First Team at East Mississippi Community College in 2011, Bester transferred to Oklahoma, where he appeared in 24 games for the Sooners. He played in 12 games as a junior in 2012 and became a full-time starter as a senior in 2013, recording career highs with six catches for 105 yards and a touchdown against Alabama in the Sugar Bowl. Before embarking on his college career, the Scooba, Miss. native led Kemper County High School in rushing, passing and scoring as a senior, seeing action at quarterback, receiver, running back, and defensive back during his prep career.

Wright (5-10, 190, South Dakota State) joins the KISS on the heels of a stint with the NFL’s Tennessee Titans. Before turning pro, Wright was a three-year starter at South Dakota State where he earned Third Team Sports Network All-American honors after posting 52 tackles, two stops for loss, one sack, four forced fumbles, four interceptions, one blocked kick, and a touchdown in 2013. He was also selected to the Allstate Good Works Team as a senior. Prior to his collegiate career, the Lee’s Summit, Mo. native was a standout running back at Blue Springs South High School, where he rushed for 1,000 yards and 14 touchdowns as a senior, and earned the opportunity to play in the Missouri vs. Kansas All-Star Game following the 2008 prep season.
