The LA KISS are excited to take the next step in 2016.

With all of the buzz in recent weeks and months being focused on everything there is to love about Los Angeles sports, it might be easy to overlook the LA KISS. For the one team that does bring football to Los Angeles on a professional level, it’s about time they got some love all their own. Despite going 4-14 last season, LA KISS CEO Joe Windham remained optimistic about what the future holds.

Holding their own seemed to be the largest staple of success from the LA KISS last year, and according to Windham, free agency could be the key to breakout seasons in the near future.

But they would rather be safe than sorry. Los Angeles is a rebuilding city, though, so this is right where you’d want it to all go down. Other Los Angeles teams are also looking towards what they hope isn’t a glass ceiling. The Lakers, Kings, and Clippers all have some seriously untapped potential that they look to unload in the coming seasons. Expect just as much, if not more from the LA KISS.

In fact, Windham was so confident in his team’s rebuilding phase that he said as soon as next year would be a time that the team looks to compete for a championship. It’s just a matter of putting words into action. Of all of the teams that could do it in the Arena Football League, it’s the LA KISS. Which is great news for fans of the team. The LA KISS also want to make fan participation a big part of their game next season, and to help make that a reality the team is offering a special on season tickets.
