WINDHAM TO OVERSEE TEAM BUSINESS AND FOOTBALL OPERATIONS

Los Angeles, CA (May 27th, 2015) – LA KISS announced today that Joe Windham will serve as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the team and oversee both business and football operations. Windham brings with him 12 years of executive leadership in the Arena Football League (AFL), NASCAR, National Hot Rod Association (NHRA), Minor League Baseball, Independent Baseball, and more.

“I am extremely excited to be part of LA KISS Football as they have great ownership in Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley and Doc McGhee,” said Joe Windham, CEO of LA KISS. “Building a championship team doesn’t happen without hard work and dedication to the process, but with head coach Bob McMillen and his staff along with some key players, we have great talent to build around. I look forward to creating a team that will be successful both on and off the field.”

Prior to being named CEO of LA KISS, Windham was president of the AFL Champion Arizona Rattlers from 2011 to 2014, where he also oversaw all business and game operations. During that time, the Rattlers won three consecutive championships, and in 2013, Windham was awarded AFL Executive of the Year.

Prior to joining the Rattlers, Windham served as a business advisor for several startup companies and business re-organizations. He has also acted as general manager for an independent professional baseball organization in California.

Windham’s background also includes several years of experience in the NHRA. Most notably, Windham worked with 16-time world champion funny car driver and owner John Force along with car owners Roland Leong and K.C. Spurlock.

Windham, born in Sacramento, CA, and his wife Vanessa have five children: Joey, Nicole, Christina, Vivian and Veronica. Windham also has three grandchildren: Connor, Colin and Ava.
