Today, LA KISS co-owners Gene Simmons, Paul Stanley, Doc McGhee and Brett Bouchy announced they have hired sports and entertainment veteran Schuyler Hoversten as team President.

Prior to joining the LA KISS, Hoversten oversaw the business development for the Los Angeles Dodgers for four years and was tasked with increasing the team’s revenue streams. Under Hoversten’s leadership, the Dodgers set new revenue records year-over-year in addition to implementing first-ever brand entitlement and activation spaces at Dodger Stadium including the United Club Suites, Lexus Dugout Club and Ketel One Lounge. “Having Schuyler as our team President will be a tremendous value to our front office,” stated Brett Bouchy, Co-owner of LA KISS. “Not only does Schuyler have the business savvy and relationships that our brand is looking for, but we also know that he is like-minded with all of the LA KISS leadership in wanting to make the team a huge success in the Arena Football league and beyond.”

Prior to his work with the Los Angeles Dodgers, Hoversten served as VP of Business Development for the Colorado Crush Arena League Football Team for four years, overseeing all aspects of the team’s business operations including ticketing, sponsorship, game day operations, marketing and promotions.

“I’m thrilled for the opportunity to be a part of bringing professional football back to Los Angeles,” commented Schuyler Hoversten, President of LA KISS. “Gene and Paul are tremendous entertainers and savvy businessmen; I’m looking forward to working with them to create the best fan experience in all of sports.”

The acquisition of Hoversten will guide the corporate and business goals off the field. His extensive experience in the sports and entertainment industries will help to strategically guide and yield multiple business benefits for the new Los Angeles based team.

“If anyone still doubts our commitment to raising the bar and bringing the AFL and LA KISS to sports prominence I give you two words…Schuyler Hoversten.” said Paul Stanley, Co-owner of LA KISS. “His business acumen, leadership skills and past successes speak volumes about where we will take our team.”

The AFL (, which is dedicated to playing and promoting in-arena professional football around the world, will mark its 27th season in 2014, as well as the inaugural season for LA KISS.
