The LA KISS announced today four player additions to the newest AFL expansion team with the assignments of former National Football League (NFL) talents, Offensive Guards Jaime Thomas …and Johan Asiata, Defensive End Nigel Nicholas and Defensive Lineman Aaron Davis. The quartet will make their Arena Football League (AFL) debut this upcoming season.

“These are four NFL caliber players that have competed at the highest level,” stated Schuyler Hoversten, President of LA KISS. “These additions will help build a solid foundation as we continue to grow our roster in the coming months.” “We were able to add four key pieces upfront that will be able to contribute immediately.” said Bob McMillen, Head Coach for LA KISS. “These roster expansions, coupled with past players, really show our commitment to building a complete team on both sides of the ball.”

Thomas (6’5”, 325, Maryland) joins the LA KISS following three years in the NFL with the Indianapolis Colts after being drafted in the 7th round of the 2009 NFL Draft.

Asiata (6’4”, 325, UNLV) joins Thomas on the LA KISS offensive line after time spent with the Chicago Bears.

Nicholas (6’4”, 270, Oklahoma State) joins the LA KISS from the Tennessee Titans.

Davis (6’4”, 295, SMU) is a Californian native bringing versatility and athleticism to the LA KISS playing multiple positions including DE, DT, LB and FB.
