LA KISS DANCER AUDITION DETAILS

PRELIMINARY ROUND

DATE: Saturday, January 4th
TIME: Sign-in Starts @ 10AM
LOCATION: Millennium Dance Complex - 5113 Lankershim Blvd. San Fernando Valley, CA

Audition Start Time @ 11AM Sharp
*Plan to be there until 5PM, Bring water & snacks

FINAL ROUND:

DATE: Wednesday, January 8th
TIME: 11AM-3PM
LOCATION: Millennium Dance Complex

REQUIREMENTS:

• Female Dancers who are 18 years of age or older by the audition date.

• Must be available for all phases of the audition process and be prepared to stay as long as necessary.

• Must provide one non-returnable headshot and one non-returnable full-body shot (5"x7" or larger preferred). Photos are used for identification purposes.

• Professional photo is not mandatory. Photos should be a current representation of what you look like or will look like at the audition.

• Must provide a current dance and professional resume (if applicable).

• Must have a flexible schedule and the ability to commit to the LA KISS schedule, which includes but is not limited to attendance at all rehearsals, all designated home games, community, charitable, and corporate event appearances for one full year.

PRELIMINARY AUDITION ATTIRE:

• Dance or Athletic crop/bra-top (stomach must be showing).

• Hot pants, shorts, or skirt. No capri or full-length pants & No high waisted shorts. No logos showing.

• Shoes- Bring a pair of flats you can really dance/do technique in and a pair of heels/heeled boots you can really dance in.

• Performance ready hair and makeup. Dress to stand out & show your personality! This is not for a cookie-cutter dance team; the owners of this organization ARE the Frontmen of the World-Wide phenomenon, KISS!!

INFORMATION:

• Audition is closed to the public.

• Interviews will be held January 6th.

• Possible bootcamp/rehearsal will be held on January 6th or 7th.

• Audition Candidates that make the team must be available for a meeting on Saturday, January 18th.

• The audition process will be filmed for a reality television series, featuring KISS’ Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley on their quest to create LA KISS. You must sign a release before trying out.
