CHICAGO – The Arena Football League will close out the 2014 calendar year with an Expansion Draft and Offseason Assignment Process, the League office announced today.
On Monday, December 22, the Las Vegas Outlaws will have the opportunity to fill out their inaugural roster with AFL veterans from around the League in the AFL Expansion Draft. Last year’s Expansion Draft – the AFL’s first since 2006 – saw 16 players selected by the Portland Thunder and LA KISS.

On Tuesday, December 23, the League will also host the Offseason Assignment Process, where AFL teams will have the opportunity to acquire players with active AFL contracts who played last season for clubs not returning to the League in 2015.

Both events are scheduled for 12 p.m. ET on their respective days and will be covered live on www.ArenaFootball.com
