OFFENSIVE LINEMEN MARCUS REED & WIDE RECEIVER CALEB HOLLEY

Los Angeles, CA  (November 17th, 2015) – The LA KISS have been assigned two more former NFL players to their roster for the 2016 AFL season. They have acquired offensive linemen, Marcus Reed and wide receiver, Caleb Holley.

“I’m intrigued to see what these players will do. Both Holley and Reed have spent considerable time in the NFL,” said Head Coach of the LA KISS, Omarr Smith. “Holley is an explosive receiver with very good size and Reed is a versatile lineman, which will instantly bolster protection for our quarterback.”

Marcus Reed, the 6’4”, 340lbs, offensive linemen, originally from Fayetteville State University (FSU), is entering his 1st season in the AFL. Reed most recently played for the Kansas City Chiefs. Prior to being a part of the Chiefs, Reed was a All-CIAA 2nd Team as a senior at FSU where he started all 10 games at the guard spot. During that season, the FSU offense finished the season ranked sixth in passing in the CIAA and seventh in rushing.

Caleb Holley, the 6’2”, 195lbs, wide receiver, is also entering his 1st season in the AFL. He attended East Central University where in his senior season he had a school record 970 yards to go along with 55 receptions and 9 TD’s.  Following college, Holley made the Buffalo Bills practice squad in 2014 and joined them for training camp the following season.  He will also be joining college teammate, cornerback, Qumain Black, who was just assigned to the LA KISS last week.
