Los Angeles, CA (March 29th, 2016) – The LA KISS are happy to announce Dr. Scott Graham as the new Medical Director and Medical Doctor for the LA KISS Arena Football Team. Dr. Graham is on the Board of SCOS Orthopedics, which is a specialty Orthopedic Medical Group in Orange County. SCOS has three offices throughout Orange County and provides sub-specialty Orthopedic Surgery services to its patients. Dr. Graham also holds a Subspecialty Certification in Orthopedic Sports Medicine. This certification means the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery recognizes him as one of the few Sports Medicine Orthopedic Surgeons who has achieved the highest level of proficiency in Sports Medicine.

He has an extensive background in sports medicine, and I feel our players couldn't be in better hands."

After obtaining his BS from USC in 1991 and graduating from USC School of Medicine in 1995, Dr. Graham completed a residency in Orthopedics at UC Irvine Medical Center, which is one of the premiere "Hands On" training centers for orthopedic surgeons. During his residency, Dr. Graham worked at the Kerlan-Jobe Orthopedic Clinic as an assistant team physician with the Los Angeles Lakers and Anaheim Angels.

Following his residency, Dr. Graham traveled to the prestigious Cleveland Clinic for further training with a Fellowship in Sports Medicine. Throughout his Fellowship, Dr. Graham was the Team Physician and Orthopedic Consultant for the NFL's Cleveland Browns, NBA's Cleveland Cavaliers and the WNBA's Cleveland Rockers. He also worked at the NFL Combine evaluating players for the NFL Draft process and was on staff for Rookie and Veteran Camps.

Throughout his training, Dr. Graham has published many research articles in peer-reviewed journals. He has also received several notable awards for his research in Sports Medicine, which he has presented at National and International venues..

Dr. Graham has been the team physician for Santa Margarita Catholic High School Athletics for many years. In addition, he continues to care for and treat athletes as a Sports Medicine Specialist for nearly all the regional high school and college athletes in both North and South Orange County. He is also the Medical Director of Athletics, as well as the Program Director for Athletic Training, for NCAA Division II Concordia University.

Dr. Graham provides advanced and minimally invasive care for all sports medicine injuries. He specializes in knee and shoulder injuries, arthroscopy, minimally invasive surgery, PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) treatments and Cartilage Restoration and Reconstruction.

For the past several years, Dr. Graham has been selected as one of the Orange County Medical Association’s Top Doctors in Orthopedic Surgery.
