Anaheim, Calif.—The LA KISS are pleased to report that the Arena Football League has selected two LA KISS players for 2016 All-Arena honors. Wide receiver Donovan Morgan has earned the Second Team All-Arena Offense award, while defensive back Fredrick Obi received Second Team All-Arena Defense honors.

This is “Captain” Morgan’s fifth All-Arena selection, his third-straight since joining the LA KISS in 2014. This season, Morgan continued his dominance of the league and led LA KISS receivers in receptions (113), receiving yards (1,462) and receiving touchdowns (41). Furthermore, the 34 year-old scored a touchdown in every game this season, including finding the end zone two or more times in 16-of-17 games. Morgan added to his already storied AFL career by moving into the fifth position in the AFL’s all-time career touchdown leaderboard (290), climbing to the seventh all-time position in receiving yards (12,732) and ascending to the ninth all-time spot in receptions (907).

Fredrick Obi, a second-year player, in his first season with LA KISS, earned his first-ever All-Arena nod after setting a single-season LA KISS record, and ranking fifth in the AFL, with 91.5 total regular season tackles. Additionally, the native of Inglewood, CA tallied the fifth most interception return yards (111) and boasted the eighth most passes deflected (23).
